How It Started

It started with a conversation. Ravi and Nasser, two founders in Vizag, met and realized they had the same problem. Building a business is exciting, but it's also incredibly isolating. There's no one to bounce ideas off, no one who gets why you're stressed about something that sounds simple to everyone else, and no one who understands what it actually takes to keep going every single day.

So one Sunday morning in February 2026, we decided to do something about it. We put together a simple breakfast meetup. No agenda, no pitch decks, no formality. Just founders sitting at one table at Varun Eats, talking about what they're building, what's working, what's not, and what they're struggling with.

We expected maybe four or five people. Over ten showed up. Founders from completely different industries. And the conversations that happened that morning were more valuable than any webinar or networking event we'd ever attended. People were sharing real numbers, real failures, real advice. By the end of breakfast, everyone had set personal goals and agreed to hold each other accountable at the next meetup.

That's when it clicked. This can't just be a one-time thing.

Why We Built It

Vizag has incredible talent. People here are building real businesses, solving real problems. But there's no dedicated space for founders to connect consistently. You either end up in a WhatsApp group that goes silent after a week, or you attend a one-off event and never see those people again.

We wanted something different. A place where founders actually show up. Every week. Where they share their wins and their struggles openly. Where there's a reason to stay engaged and a cost to disappearing.

That's why we built Baypreneurs.

03

Why It's Gamified

Let's be honest. Communities die when people stop showing up. We didn't want Baypreneurs to become another dead group. So we gamified it.

Every action matters. You earn points for showing up, sharing wins, engaging with other founders. You climb through seven ranks, from Newcomer to Bay Legend. And when you reach the top, you don't just get a title. You get visibility to investors.

But it's not just about rewards. If you RSVP and ghost, you lose points. Every day until the next meetup. Because accountability isn't just about celebrating wins. It's about respecting the community that's rooting for you.

What Happens Every Sunday

Every Sunday, Baypreneurs hosts a meetup at a different spot in Vizag. You RSVP on the platform, show up, check in, and you're in a room with people who are building just like you. No keynote speakers, no panels. Just real conversations between real founders.

You talk about what you accomplished that week, where you're stuck, and what you're aiming for next. The people around you listen, give feedback, and hold you to it. Then you do it again the following Sunday.

It's simple. And that's exactly why it works.

This Sunday Could Be Your First
